For unusual and atypical visits, we recommend “Le Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval” and the “Labyrinthes” in the town of Hautesrives, as well as the “Palace of Nougat and Souvenirs” in Montélimar. To learn about the history of the region by train, discover “The Ardèche train”, the “Vélorail des Gorges du Doux” and the “Jardin des Trains Ardéchois” in Soyons. Get as close as possible to the animals at the “Safari de Peaugres”, at the “Parc des Perroquets” in Bren, at the “Parc Animalier de la Clairière” in Ardoix, at the rare horned species park “Thousand and one Horns” in Charmes- sur-l'Herbasse and at the “Ferme aux Crocodiles” in Montélimar.

Discover the local products and the gastronomy of the Ardèche by visiting these establishments guarding culinary traditions: the “Cité du Chocolat ValRhôna”, the “Pognes Pascalis”, the “Maison M. Prehistoric enthusiasts, meet in the “Grotte de Soyons” and in the “Caverne du Pont d'Arc”. Discover a remarkable archaeological and natural heritage. Children and adults can learn more about prehistory in the exact replicas of these famous caves.

Take part in visits to majestic sites. Very close to our family campsite in Ardèche, discover on the banks of the Rhône, the "Château-Museum" of Tournon-sur-Rhône, but also the magnificent "Garden of Eden" which will intoxicate you with its floral scents. We also recommend visiting the ruins of the "Château de Crussol" which will delight lovers of medieval history or discovering the spectacular "Palais Ideal du Facteur Cheval".

Joining Lake Leman and the Mediterranean Sea, the “Via Rhôna” Route passes very close to our charming campsite in Ardèche and is done by bike. Lovers of cycle tourism and water rides, discover the "Compagnie des Canotiers" offering water and bicycle rides. True bicycle enthusiasts can take part in the unmissable cycling event: the Ardéchoise.
